Founded in 1998 Nova Derm Dermaesthetic and Laser Center is a pioneer in Puerto Rico in the treatment of dermatologic laser and cosmetic procedures, under the Medical Direction of Dr. Luis J. Ortiz-Espinosa, Dermatologist. Dr. Ortiz has been recognized for over 13 consecutive years in the selection of recognized experts in Puerto Rico for the Good Life Magazine. He has written dozens of articles of information on nearly all the magazines and newspapers in Puerto Rico. He has participated in several radio and television programs, for example in Noticentro 4 Dermatology Section and cancer programs on Channel 40. He is a Consultant and Officer of Beauty Contests like Miss Universe, and staff Dermatologist of recognized artists and personalities in Puerto Rico. He also chaired the Puerto Rico Dermatological Society and the Section of Dermatology, Medical Association Journal and author of the Medical Press.
